I write about things that interest me. But a lot of things interest me, so really I am writing about pretty much anything and everything. I’m equal parts a history nerd and a space/sci-fi nerd, but I am also endlessly fascinated by etymology, mythology, maps, movies, obscure places, and the life of captain James Cook.
During the day, I work in academia and wrangle my kids (sometimes simultaneously). I love cats, Indiana Jones, and daydreaming about traveling in New Zealand (not an exhaustive list).
